Flitwick Lib Dems Fighting for a Better NHS

Flitwick District Councillors John Watton and Steve Mitchell are continuing their campaign to save Steppingley Hospital from possible closure. They have started a petition which will be available to sign at Flitwick Library and local GP's are running their own petition which will be combined with this one and presented to the board of the PCT. It states:

Steppingley Hospital is a valuable community asset

The quality of care is regarded as excellent

If closure takes place, inpatient facilities will be dispersed to South Bedfordshire

The case for closure has not been adequately justified

This petition will be presented to the board of Bedfordshire Heartlands PCT, who are due to take the decision in September.

Please sign the petition if you can.
