Following Fridays story on a dangerous site in Shefford that local children have been accessing, we can, just one working day later, say that the site owners have put together a plan to make the site safe with better fencing and action on internal entrances and debris. Local Councillor Mark Chapman said "I am very pleased that the response to this situation has been so fast and comprehensive. The site owners have told me that they have a plan to make the site as safe as possible, and have instructed their contractors to set to work asap."
