With 55.2% of the vote, Roger achieved a famous victory in what was once a safe Tory stronghold. Labour managed just 3.3%, and the Tories shrunk to 41.5%. Labour have again finished a very poor last place in Mid Beds.

In his victory speech, Roger acclaimed the hard work his team had put into the election, and declared that it was a privilege to have been elected to work hard for the local community.
