Britain's worst kept secret was revealed today as the Prime Minister called a General Election for May 5th. Mid Beds Lib Dems will be campaigning hard across the constituency throughout April. Parliamentary Candidate Mark Chapman said "It's great to b in election mode proper. We intend to get the message across during the campaign that the Liberal Democrats are the Real alternative to the Tories at this election in Mid Beds. Labour are a busted flush here. We will champion the abolition of the Council Tax in favour of Local Income Tax. We will say no to student tuition and top up fees, and will promote the cause fairer and more generous pensions for the elderly, along with free personal care."
